Do Vitamins Give Me Energy?

July 1st, 2010

Some experts still say no, although it is my expert opinion that by educated use of a high quality nutritional supplement line with a custom-crafted treatment plan developed with your physician will help give you energy.  Calories produce energy.  Vitamins support the metabolic process, so in general if the food is vitamin deficient you will be energy deficient.  There are certain supplements of high quality.  Some people care more about the quality of the gasoline they put in their car than they do about the quality of food and supplementation they put in their bodies.  Vitamins assist enzymes to release energy from food.  When people are looking for that afternoon boost of energy that would normally have you seeking a Red Bull or Starbucks run for instance, I suggest that you try instead a premium product such as AWAKE or MOCHATONIX from my Nutrametrix product line at www.doctorgorrell.com  or by calling my nutracutical consultant in my office, Merrilee Severino at 727 408 0225.  I have also heard that people with fatigue benefit from a second dose of OPC-3 as well as a dose of B vitamins in the afternoon.  Exercise is also an energy booster and great tool for pain relief and treatment for depression.  Part of your work up should include hormone testing (both men and women) as hormonal deficiencies can also cause fatigue.  All of these things must be done together.  You have to start somewhere.  Taking the first step will help and that second and third step get easier.  I believe in you – you can do it!
